Groups on Tabella come in two types: public groups (join directly) and private groups (require approval). Here's how to find and join either type.
On the Mobile App
Finding a Group
Open Tabella and log into your account
Tap the search bar at the top center of the screen
Browse Near You communities (make sure location is enabled on your device and Tabella has permission to access it)
Don't see your group? Open the Communities tab for additional results
Search by name using the search bar while in the Communities tab
Tip: If your group appears in the "Near You" section, it's within your area. Enabling location services gives you better local results.
Joining a Group
Tap on the group to view its profile
Tap Join (for public groups) or Send Request (for private groups)
For private groups, wait for the admin to approve your request
On the Web
Finding a Group
Go to web.tabella.app and log in
Click Communities in the left menu
Browse Near You communities (enable location on your device and grant Tabella permission)
Can't find your group? Use the filters or search by name in the search bar to the right of the filters
Tip: Location-based results work best when you've enabled location permissions in your browser.
Joining a Group
Click on the group to view its profile
Click Join (for public groups) or Send Request (for private groups)
For private groups, the group admin will review and approve your request
What's the Difference?
Public Groups: Anyone can join immediately by tapping/clicking "Join"
Private Groups: You'll need to send a request. The group admin will review it before you're added
